I must start by recognizing the phenomenal talent, creativity and kindness that Amelisa possesses and demonstrates within her wedding coordination business. She is a true gem – a one of a kind woman who took my words from 3,786 miles away and turned them into the most beautiful wedding I have ever witnessed! It began with a lot of research in trying to find a wedding planner on the island of St. Thomas, where my fiancé and I knew we wanted to be married.
After much searching, we stumbled upon Amelisa’s company, Keya’s Exquisite Touch, and the rest is history! Her prices were fair and easy to understand, and whenever we visited her website we were greeted by Amelisa herself, asking if we’d like to chat and if we had any questions. Her website is perfectly organized – easy to find information, beautiful pictures from other weddings and a classy, elegant look. We found just what we’d been searching for in a wedding that took place while our cruise ship was docked in port. We knew Amelisa was “the one” the first time we spoke to her over the phone. She answered all of our questions, gave suggestions that we had not even considered, and through it all made us comfortable with her easy going style and infectious laugh. She made everything simple and easy from the get-go – organizing the financial aspects of the ceremony, getting our paperwork in, and answering all of our e-mails in a very timely fashion all solidified the trust we’d put in her.
She worked with us in the financial department, arranging less expensive transportation and finding alternatives to more expensive items so we could still accomplish the “feel” of the tropical wedding we’d hoped for, but within our teacher-salary budgets. A few days prior to our wedding, in true bridal style, I called her to confirm a few details (and calm my nerves!).
She immediately put my anxiety at ease, talking about how excited she was for my wedding! She spoke about a few small details she had added as a surprise to make our special day even more extraordinary, and all of her preparations for our arrival. She calmed my nerves and I felt like I truly had a friend on the other end of the line.
The day of our wedding, I was a mess! I was so nervous, having created a ceremony from across an entire continent and putting all of my hopes and trust into a woman I’d never met. In a few minutes, after disembarking our cruise ship, I met Amelisa and my worries subsided. She was warm, confident, and calm. She was exactly what I needed that day to pacify my apprehension, and she did everything with a loving approach. We went to the courthouse where she brought my mom and I water while we waited, and then were off to Magen’s Bay Beach, the site of our ceremony. She had a wonderful driver who helped my mom and I in the car, while Amelisa rode and guided us the entire way, cheerfully talking with us as she answered phone calls and kept her staff up-to-date on any last-minute changes and decisions.
We approached Magen’s Bay Beach and I was floored – she had not only taken my vision and made it a reality, but she made it better than I’d ever imagined! She added details to the ceremony site that made me feel like she truly understood what it was that I’d wanted my whole life! From the conch shells and palms lining the curved aisle, to white chair covers with teal sashes that match the Caribbean Sea, to a beautiful arbor of palms that created a heavenly backdrop, she created an even better scene than which had been living in my head for the past year and a half. The decorations were dazzling, but it didn’t stop there.
Amelisa’s staffers were outstanding! Each one helped in such a large way, from the drivers who kept my fiancé and I calm during the transport, to her right-hand woman, who kept my dress out of the sand and my bouquet appropriately tilted during all of our pictures, to the photographer and videographer, who professionally captured the love that we shared that day. Each person was highly-qualified and hard-working. They, too, seemed happy to share in our special day and eager to assist us in any way possible. Everyone worked harmoniously to make this day the best day of our lives, and I truly believe it all comes back to Amelisa. Her passion for weddings and understanding of her customers make her simply THE best.
I cannot tell you how PERFECT she made the day of July 9, 2012, but trust me when I say that I feel Amelisa is a part of our lives forever because she made all of our dreams come true for myself, my fiancé, and our families. PLEASE, if you thinking of getting married in a tropical place, with your toes in the sand, contact Amelisa and start along the path to happiness.
Here are all the contacts you need: Keya’s Exquisite Touch website: http://www.kexquisitetouch.com/ Amelisa’s phone number: 1-866-820-7946 Keya’s Exquisite Touch on Facebook (she posts lots of pictures!): http://www.facebook.com/keyasexquisitetouch Thank you, Amelisa, for your passion, your creativity, your organization, your follow-through, and most of all, your kindness. We will never be able to express the true gratitude we feel for you and what you did for us that day. With love, Lisa & Rathan Mahendran

St. Thomas Island is a relatively small island, barely 4 miles wide and 13 miles long. It is hilly, with a mountain ridge that runs east to west that divides the island in half. Visitors are drawn to the popular tourist sites, but there’s much more to see on St. Thomas Island.
Historical sites and monuments provide ample reward for those interested in learning more about St Thomas Island. The busy shopping town of Charlotte Amalie also hosts an excellent museum, as well as the beautiful Emancipation Gardens.
Before setting out to explore St Thomas Island, it is well to understand how the street names work. Stemming from a mixed cultural heritage, the streets are named with both their Dutch and in English versions.
However, no matter how much planning and thinking is put into the kinds of food and favors are served at the party and what theme and design it will assume, no party will be complete without the proper kids’ entertainment. Children’s birthday party entertainment could be in the form of games or visual amusement.
The visual amusement part is easy to obtain. You can simply pop in a cartoon and transfer it to a wide screen projector to keep kids occupied all throughout the party, or you can hire either a magician, balloon trickster, clown, dancing character mascot or face painter for a small fee.
If you’re working on tight budget, one of the child’s family members or the parents’ adult friends can volunteer to be the entertainer for a day and tell the children stories and sing songs. Why, if willing he or she can even agree to become the clown for the day! You never know.
The games part is a little challenging, though, because you will need a good, enticing party host to get the guests to participate. Children are generally shy, so it can be quite a task to urge them to join in on the activities.
There are many children’s birthday party game ideas all over the Internet, so this part will be a cinch. Also, game materials can be easily obtained from party supplies stores – or you can make them yourself.
Naturally, since you intend to have games at your child’s party, you should be prepared to give out a prize. Children get inspired to join games because of the motivation and inspiration presented by the prizes. The prizes don’t have to be so expensive. Kids are easy to please, so even a coloring book or a small box of crayons will do.
Contrary to the usual impression, holding a children’s birthday party is not really so expensive to pull off. With the right kind of entertainment, a little creativity, you will be able to come up with a party that will have everyone raving about it for days.
Fun is not measured by how much you’ve spent on a particular event. It’s with the camaraderie that is developed during.

Setting up kids entertainment centers at home is a good way to keep your kids away from boredom, especially during school breaks and holidays. Technological advancements have led to the introduction of a huge variety of home gadgets, from television sets and DVDs to different types of game consoles such as Xbox and PlayStation. In fact, kids nowadays prefer to stay at home and play with their gadgets than go out and play with their neighbors.
When setting up a kids entertainment center at home, it is important to ask your children what kind of entertainment they really want; whether a simple television set where they can watch their favorite TV shows and movies, a game console so they can play with their favorite games, or a computer where they can play games online and interact with other online gamers.
While setting up kids entertainment centers at home is recommended, it is the parents’ responsibility to monitor their children and make sure they are still able to balance their time in studying and playing.
Kids entertainment center at home is where children can unwind and relax while they’re off from school, which is actually recommended.
However, it is advised that parents must let their children know their limitations for play and entertainment and make them understand that studying is important more than anything else.
If at all possible, set up entertainment center for kids away from their bedrooms or study areas. You can probably set it up in a different room so their studies or sleeping habits won’t be distracted. Set it up where you can regularly monitor them.
There are also ways to entertain your kids without having to spend a lot of money. You can always think of a great activity for the whole family, such as picnics at home, charades, cooking activities, and the like. These can be great family bonding activities and these sure will keep your kids entertained during school breaks and holidays.
It is crucial that children are kept entertained during school breaks and holidays, either through kids entertainment center or through family bonding activities. But it is also important that their minds keep working and that they retain the knowledge they’ve learned from school.
As much as possible, set up educational games and activities for your kids. Games and activities that stimulate their minds and develop their creativity and imagination are ideal. This is the best way to ensure your kids are also learning while they are playing.
